The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo
The Q Revo is an excellent option if you're looking to buy an affordable robot vacuum and mop. It's got a fantastic mopping performance but lacks some of the advanced features that are found in its more expensive counterpart.
During tests it was able to eliminate pet hair and dry oats out of carpets with a medium-pile. It doesn't use LIDAR, however, like cheaper models do to identify your home.
iRobot Roomba s9+
The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top robot vacuums. It comes with a variety of features and incredible cleaning power, including a dirt compartment that is integrated into the charging base. The robot will learn your cleaning habits, and suggest automated schedules to give you an effortless cleaning experience.
The iRobot Home App guides you through the process of setting up. Once the system is set up, you can start automated cleaning with a single button. You can select a general clean which focuses on the elimination of larger particles like rice and cereal. You can also choose two mappings to ensure that your entire home is thoroughly cleaned.
This robot vacuum performs well both on bare floors and carpets with low pile. It is able to take large objects and doesn't lose suction as rapidly as other models do and can pick up pet hair with ease. It's a challenge with high-pile carpets or plush carpets, but iRobot promises that the next models will be more efficient.
The S9+ features a new design from iRobot that focuses on improving edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba that adopts flat-fronted D-shaped designs. The company hopes that this will allow it to be able to hug walls and furniture. It's a nice change from the hockey puck-like design of robovacs, but we found it to be only marginally better than circular models.
iRobot also claims the S9+ comes with an improved filter system that prevents tiny dust particles and allergens from recirculating in your home. It's a nice claim, however, we're not convinced it's enough to justify the premium price cost.
Its smart navigation system employs sensors that remember your home's layout and vSLAM technology to map your interior. It then cleans your entire home efficiently by avoiding obstacles like stairs and other barriers. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and set virtual boundary markers so that the robot can determine the areas that require attention.
2. Roborock Q Revo
When it is about robots that can combine vacuuming and mopping and mopping, the Roborock Q revo stands out. Its vacuum settings are as good as those found on higher-end models. Its mopping system is superior as its spinning pads scrub your floors much more efficiently than the vibrating pads.
The only drawback is that it doesn't have a second rubber brush to provide more thorough cleaning, but it's an acceptable price to pay if you are looking for one of the top robots available. The robo-vac's dust tank larger than many of its rivals and it takes only two or three cycles to fill it, even at the highest dirt level.
For the mopping device, I was impressed with its ability to scrub hard-to-clean dirt from my floors. The two mopping settings that it has, which are less powerful than high-powered settings, produce little noise, so you can work or even watch television without being distracted. It will gently hit furniture or walls, and move on if it comes across one.
What makes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to operate almost autonomously with very little need for user intervention. The dock of the robo-vac has multiple functions and will automatically move trash into a hidden bin. It also washes, dries and refills the clean water tank. The app is good at nagging you only when something needs attention, for example, the water tank that is running out of clean or a scheduled cleaning session having been canceled because of a full dust bin.
You can also create and combine actual rooms to customize how the Q Revo will treat your home. That's a handy feature for those who have multiple areas of your home with different flooring materials or if there's some clutter that must be removed frequently, like clothes, toys and books. The robo-vac is also very efficient and was among the top performers in my tests, picking up dirt from carpets and hardwoods on the first pass. It can vacuum up even wet spills. I recommend drying the area with a towel prior to sending it to.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni
The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd expect from a premium robot vacuum and mop and more. Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+, it has an excellent vacuum that has a powerful suction to clean hard and carpet floors, plus the mop's rotating design that can scrub tough staining. It also comes with an automatic cleaning station that washes and empties the mop pads to keep them clean and ready to be reused. It also comes with a sensor that recognizes obstacles better and prevents it from falling on furniture and other objects.
The biggest difference over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that this model has a sleeker, more modern design, thanks to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for Bang & Olufsen products). While still quite massive--it's nearly two feet tall and deep and weighs nearly four pounds--the robot itself and its base are much less bulky than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.
This version is more efficient than the X1 as it charges faster and cleans 1,500 square feet in a single charge. It also has a bigger dustbin that is more durable and can hold more debris which makes it easier to empty it when needed.
Finally it is worth noting that the X2 Omni has a more user-friendly app and voice assistant that operates offline, so you can manage it even when not at home. It also comes with more mopping modes and an intelligent routing feature which allows it to clean certain rooms or areas of your home instead of just following a specific path.
The X2 Omni is the top robot for mopping. Its mop pads that rotate scrub away tough stains, and its motor generates a lot of downward pressure. Its vacuuming is excellent too, and it boosts suction when it detects carpet to ensure it does the job well. It also has a huge battery that can last for weeks between charges, and its mopping mode is as powerful as any we've seen in an ordinary robot.
4. Dreametech L10s Ultra
The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a top-quality model that has a range of convenience features not often found on robots in this price range. It is able to build detailed floor maps, identify different types of flooring and is among the few that can automatically wash and dry its mop pads. These are nice features however they can make the L10s more of a luxury category. This might make it more expensive than what homeowners would need.
Created to resemble a modern floor cleaner designed to look like a modern floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim machine with an elegant white finish that's accented by mirror plating and silver elements. The front of the machine has an impressive bumper that protects the vacuum cleaner and furniture while moving around your home. Sensors are concealed behind the front pane, which helps the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.
On the top of the vacuum, there is a single button that acts as an on/off switch. The button will activate the vacuum. By pressing it again, you can shut it off and send it back to its base station. The circular menu in the center of the control panel allows users to select cleaning options, schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons will open the app's settings where you can alter the way the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

The L10s Ultra provides solid vacuuming performance that clears 98.4 percent of the debris from our test on the hard floor and removing all but the most stubborn juice stain. Its mops also do a great job, removing 98.4 percent of debris from our tile, carpet, and wood tests. It was not as effective at removing sand from the hard floor or quaker oats from the carpet.
